Working from previous style developments, these ultra-figurative works take place in parallel worlds, where musicians roam the countryside, and hone their craft in all-night dive bars, surrounded by billiards, drinking, disenchanted bartenders, and working women.

Each of the works features a strong central character, flanked by supporting cast.  At times, the cast takes over the narrative.  The paintings themselves are unique not only for their loose, figurative positions, but the near-impossible geometric positions of the figures and objects themselves.  Part lived experience and part fantasy, real-life people are often incorporated into the scenes, including at times, the artist himself.
